Entr’acte Musical & Dramatic Society brings Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s trailblazing rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar to the O’Reilly Theatre this February. With its iconic score, dynamic staging and a talented local cast, this production delivers a high‑energy retelling of the final days of Jesus through powerful rock music and bold storytelling.
The Programme
Directed by Niamh McGowan with musical direction by Róisín Heenan, the show features well‑known numbers including “Heaven on Their Minds”, “Gethsemane” and “Superstar”. Expect sharp choreography, striking vocals and an emotionally charged performance that has captivated audiences worldwide for over 50 years.
