Belvedere College’s Senior Students Present a Heartwarming Broadway Hit
From 26th to 29th November 2025, the senior students of Belvedere College, joined by local girls’ schools, bring the internationally acclaimed musical Come From Away to the stage of the O'Reilly Theatre in Dublin.
This powerful production is part of our SchoolShows.ie initiative, where we help schools across Ireland reach wider audiences and manage ticket distribution for their performances.
About the Show
Come From Away is a Tony Award-winning musical based on the true story of the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, during the September 11, 2001 attacks. When U.S. airspace was closed, 7,000 passengers were unexpectedly diverted to Gander. The town’s residents welcomed these strangers with open arms, showcasing extraordinary compassion and humanity in a time of global crisis.
This uplifting and emotional musical celebrates kindness, resilience, and the power of community. With a runtime of 120 minutes including an interval, it’s suitable for audiences aged 7 and up.
