About the event
Rebecca F. Kuang appears in conversation to celebrate the publication of her new book Taipei Story — a coming-of-age story exploring identity, language, grief and family history during a Taiwanese summer. Kuang is renowned for her sharp, genre-defying novels: Yellowface was the publishing sensation of 2023, and a Marshall Scholar and PhD candidate at Yale, she has earned accolades from the Nebula, Locus, Crawford and British Book Awards for Katabasis, Babel and The Poppy War trilogy.
Eason will be selling copies of Kuang’s novels on the night. After the talk, Rebecca will sign and/or personalise one copy per reader, and there will be an opportunity for candid photos.
