About the concert
Mystery Ensemble play the music John Williams wrote for the Harry Potter films, from the novels of the same name by J.K. Rowling, in their own arrangements by candlelight. Hedwig's Theme, the main theme heard in a modified form through all the films, is at its heart, and the ensemble's concerts also feature music from Howard Shore's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Founded in 2021, Mystery Ensemble is a group of professional musicians who perform tribute programmes of film and TV soundtracks, classical and contemporary works in unusual venues around Europe.
