About the play

SYNAPSES follows Mike and Emily, a divorced couple who constantly row about money, access and parenting style. One fateful afternoon, for the sake of their young son, they try to find a better way. It all goes wrong, it all goes right — and an electrical fault spins them, and us, back and forth through time in search of the truth. Amid the rise of parental influencers and relationship gurus online, this two-hander brings us intimately close to the reality of young families behind closed doors.
